New Delhi: Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav has a hilarious response to the supporters of Royal Challengers Bengaluru after the player was getting trolled for his comment that the team needs a trophy in their cabinet.
RCB, which is one of the teams to be playing in the IPL since the cash-rich league’s inception in 2008, has never won the title, though the team has made three appearances in the final only to finish as the runners-up. The team has always faced criticism on a lighter note with the fans of opposition teams making it sure to take digs at the RCB supporters after every time they are eliminated from the tournament.
In an interaction with Zeeshan Khan on Talk Football HD, Kuldeep was asked by a fan to join RCB, jokingly saying that the team needs a goalkeeper. Kuldeep, in a witty manner, responded to the user, saying that they (RCB) don’t need a goalkeeper but a trophy more than anything.

Furthermore, the RCB fans started trolling Kuldeep on social media platforms. The Indian spinner didn’t hold back, and gave another befitting response, cheekily saying that the trophy is their.
“Chill yar rcb fans…Trophy apki hai Par me goal keeper ni hu (Keep calm RCB fans…..the trophy is yours only, but I’m not a goalkeeper,” the 30-year-old wrote on his X handle.
Kuldeep was retained by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction for a whopping sum of INR 13.25 crore. This was a massive hike for the player after the team had bought for INR 2 crore in IPL 2022 auction. The left-arm wrist spinner has played 10 matches against RCB from 2017 to 2024, having picked up seven wickets at an economy rate of 9.71.
