Wang Yi Meets PM Narendra Modi: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that China is ready to work with India to implement the important consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries. Consensus reached on these issues

Wang said that China is ready to work with India to implement the important consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, enhance mutual trust, dispel suspicions, properly handle sensitive issues, further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and maintain the positive direction of India-China relations. This is in line with the core interests of the people of both the countries and is also in line with the shared expectations of the international community.

Met with Ajit Doval

The Chinese Foreign Minister also met NSA Ajit Doval on the sidelines of the BRICS National Security Advisors meeting on Monday. During the talks, both sides reviewed the recent progress in bilateral relations and acknowledged that gradual progress is being made towards normalization of relations. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Ambassador Xu Feihong and other officials were also present in this meeting.
