China has again resorted to hostility! Some places of Arunachal Pradesh given fictitious names, India rejected

India-China Border Tension 2026: China is not desisting from its actions. Once again China has taken a step to provoke India. China has given fabricated names to places in Arunachal Pradesh. There has been a response from the Indian Foreign Ministry on this. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that Arunachal Pradesh has always been and will remain an integral and inseparable part of the country.

Any change of name or making false claims by China does not change the ground reality. Such actions by China are misleading and meaningless, which India completely rejects. This step of China is baseless. The Ministry of External Affairs said that India will not compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Fabricated stories do not change the truth – Ministry of External Affairs

In response to this move of China, the Ministry of External Affairs said that China’s false claims and fabricated stories cannot change the truth in any way. All regions of India including Arunachal Pradesh have always been an integral and inseparable part of the country and will continue to be so.

China upset by Governor’s visit to border post

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General KT Parnaik had visited the border post located near the LAC in Tawang district on April 9, 2026. The purpose of this visit of the Governor is posted at the forward post. Indian Army And the morale of ITBP soldiers was to be boosted. Besides, their alertness in difficult circumstances had to be taken stock. This step of China is being considered as a reaction to the Governor’s visit to the border district.

China has tried to change the names of Indian regions before

This is not the first time that China Arunachal Pradesh Tried to change the name of. Many times in the past too, China has tried to provoke India with such actions. Actually, China calls Arunachal Pradesh as ‘Southern Tibet’ Considers it a part of Arunachal Pradesh and has been renaming places of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.
