Explosion at China Fireworks Factory: A painful news is coming out from China. There was a massive explosion in a firecracker factory in Hunan province of China, in which at least 21 people are said to have died. While 61 people are said to be seriously injured. The accident has created a stir in the entire area. Relief rescue operation is going on.

According to the information, more than 500 rescue personnel are deployed at the spot and are evacuating people from dangerous areas to safe places. It is being told that the blast was so big that it affected a radius of 3 kilometers of the factory. Rescue workers are evacuating the people living in these areas and shifting them to temporary camps.

Video of the accident went viral on social media

According to Chinese government media, the explosion occurred at ‘Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display Co.’ based in Liuyang, one of the major centers of firecracker production. It happened in a workshop. Many videos of the incident are going viral on Chinese social media. In which dense clouds of white smoke are clearly visible rising from the factory.

Local people said that the explosion was so powerful that doors and windows of houses in nearby villages were broken. After the accident, there was debris on the roads. Which also included big stones. The accident created panic in the entire area. Due to which many villagers evacuated the area in view of security.

Xi Jinping ordered investigation

Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed grief over the incident. He has ordered an immediate high level investigation into this accident. Apart from this, he has directed the officials to locate the missing people after the accident and intensify efforts for the treatment of the injured.

According to the South China Morning Post report, Xi Jinping has also ordered to make risk investigation and hazard control in key industries more strict, as well as improve public security management to protect people’s lives and property.
