Nuclear preparation in the desert! China built more than 300 missile silos, Pentagon report creates stir

US China Nuclear Tension: The latest report of America’s Defense Ministry Pentagon has expressed serious concern about China’s increasing nuclear military preparations. According to the report, China has developed large-scale missile silo fields in the desert areas of its northern and north-western parts, which are aimed at quick response in case of any possible nuclear attack.

According to the Pentagon, China has built hundreds of missile silos in three major areas, Yumen, Hami and Yulin. Among these, UMaine has been described as the largest silo area. More than 300 silos have been prepared at these three locations combined, each of which can deploy a long-range intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The report also claims that DF-31 class nuclear missiles have already been loaded in more than 100 of these silos.

Capable of retaliatory nuclear attack

US report says China now using ‘Early Warning Counterstrike’ Developing capacity. This means that if it gets early warning of an enemy nuclear attack, it will be able to immediately launch a retaliatory nuclear attack. To strengthen this strategy, China has not only prepared missile silos on the ground but has also deployed satellites in space and state-of-the-art long-range radar systems on the ground. These systems are said to be capable of tracking missiles fired from thousands of kilometers away.

Work on new missile technology

The report also mentions that China is continuously working on new missile technology. Recently, during a military parade, it demonstrated a new intercontinental missile named DF-31BJ, which is considered capable of attacking any part of the world. Along with this, China has also conducted joint military exercises with Russia, the purpose of which is said to be to deal with missile attacks and strengthen strategic coordination.

America is worried seeing the power of China

According to Pentagon assessments, China currently has more than 600 nuclear warheads and this number could cross 1,000 by 2030. Due to this rapidly increasing nuclear capacity, China has become the third largest nuclear power in the world. America believes that this is not only affecting the regional balance but can also pose a direct threat to the security of the American mainland.
