Lalu Yadav's pulse will not be accepted in Bihar, Chirag Paswan's big announcement regarding assembly elections

Patna: The political buzz in the state has intensified regarding the assembly elections to be held in Bihar at the end of this year. Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas Paswan) chief Chirag Paswan has given a big statement on Thursday. He said that all the constituent parties of NDA will fight together in the Bihar Assembly elections to be held in less than a year. When journalists asked him about the proposal made by RJD President Lalu Prasad to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said that our doors (for Nitish) are open.

In response to this question, he said that some people are dreaming of creating a rift in the NDA. But that's not going to happen. None of the NDA allies is going with the opposition alliance. Chirag Paswan said that all the five allies of NDA in Bihar will contest the assembly elections together and will win more than 225 seats (of the 243-member Bihar Assembly).

Amit Shah's statement started raising questions

It is noteworthy that the NDA in Bihar includes Chief Minister's party Janata Dal United (JDU), BJP, LJP (Ram Vilas Paswan), Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's party Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha. Last month, during an interview with a private news channel, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was asked whether the NDA would adopt the same strategy in Bihar as in Maharashtra, where it contested the elections without declaring a chief ministerial candidate and won with a landslide victory. The former BJP president had replied that we will sit together and take a decision on this issue. Once we decide, we will let you know.

Lalu Yadav's offer to Nitish

Due to this evasive answer of Amit Shah, speculations about Nitish Kumar have intensified in the political circles here. Nitish Kumar has been holding the post of Chief Minister for almost two decades. Recently RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had said during an interview with a local news channel that our doors are open (for Nitish). They should also open their doors. This will make the movement of people on both sides easier. However, Tejashwi Yadav clarified his father's comments, claiming that the RJD supremo had only tried to satisfy the curiosity of the media.
