Chiranjeevi made a Guinness world record

Mumbai Mumbai. Chiranjeevi has added a new dimension to his achievements by making it to the Guinness World Records. The megastar was awarded the certificate on Sunday, September 22. For those who don't know, this date holds a special significance as it was on this day in 1978 that he made his debut in the world of acting.

Chiranjeevi has received the Guinness World Records certificate as the most successful movie star in the Indian film industry. A representative of Guinness World Records handed over the certificate to Chiranjeevi at an event in Hyderabad. The megastar has performed 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs from his 156 films over a period of 45 years. The certificate issued by Guinness World Records states, “Konidela Chiranjeevi aka Mega Star (Bharat) becomes the most successful movie star-actor/dancer in the Indian film industry on 20 September 2024.”

Aamir Khan was also present at the event.Earlier this year in May, Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award given for exceptional and distinguished service to Indian cinema, along with legendary Indian cinema icon Vyjayanthimala. On achieving this feat, Chiranjeevi said, “I never thought I would make it to the Guinness World Records. Dance had become a part of my life all these years of my film career,” said Chiranjeevi while thanking everyone for the honour.
