American actor Chuck Norris has passed away at the age of 86.
The late actor’s death was confirmed by him family on his official Instagram account with 2.9 million followers.
On March 20, a post was shared with the caption announcing his death.
“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning.”
The news came a day after Chuck was hospitalised in Hawaii on Thursday.
Speaking of his final moments, the post read “While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”
The 86-year-old was a global icon of martial arts and a famous actor who did projects like Walker, Texas Ranger, The Delta Force, Missing in Action and many more.
He was born as Carlos Ray Norris in Oklahoma in 1940 and joined US Air Force in his teenage.
Chuck got his big break with Bruce Lee in 1972’s Way Of The Dragon.
