Churma Barfi: Prepare delicious sweet at home this time

Ingredients

Gram flour – 1 bowl

Mawa – three-fourth bowl

Desi ghee – 1 bowl

Sugar – as per taste

Dry fruits – 1 tablespoon

Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Recipe

– First of all, put gram flour in a pan and roast it on low flame. Keep in mind that the gram flour should not be baked too much.

– After this, take out the roasted gram flour in a big vessel and prepare the solution by adding melted desi ghee to it.

After this, keep this solution aside for some time. Meanwhile, to prepare the syrup, add sugar and water in a pan and heat it on medium flame.

– During this time, mix the sugar with water well while stirring with the help of a ladle.

– When one thread of syrup is ready, slow down the flame and slowly add the solution prepared from gram flour and ghee into it and mix with the help of a ladle.

– After this, keep stirring this mixture well for 5-7 minutes. After this, add 2-3 spoons more desi ghee in this mixture and stir.

– When the mixture absorbs the ghee completely, then repeat the same process and add ghee and let it cook. In this way, repeat the process by adding ghee to the mixture 3-4 times.

After this, add mawa and cardamom powder to this mixture and mix with the help of a ladle. Put the prepared mixture in a plate or tray.

– Whatever plate or tray you are using, apply desi ghee on the bottom of it and grease it.

– After this, put the mixture in a plate or tray and spread it evenly all around.

– Add chopped dry fruits to it and press gently and let the mixture cool.

After it sets, cut the mixture into desired shapes with the help of a knife. Churma barfi is ready.
