Material to make

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Chopped mint leaves – 1/2 cup
  • Grated ginger – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Dried mint – 2 tablespoons
  • Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Desi Ghee – 3 tablespoons


Method of preparation

  • To make Pudina Paratha, first sieve the flour and put it in a mixing bowl.
  • After this add chopped mint leaves to the flour and mix.
  • Add grated ginger, 2 teaspoons oil and salt as per taste to the flour and sieve the flour well so that mint and other ingredients mix well in the flour.
  • Now add some water and knead the dough. After this, cover the dough and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • After the stipulated time, take the dough and knead it once again. After this, make medium sized balls of the dough.
  • First of all, take a bowl and add dry mint, red chili powder and a little salt in it and mix all three.
  • Now take a ball of dough and roll it. Put the dry mint mixture on it and spread it all around.
  • Now roll the paratha and roll it like lachha paratha, after this press the paratha in the center and roll it.
  • Now take a non-stick pan and heat it on medium flame. When the pan is hot, put the parathas on it and fry them.
  • Meanwhile, apply ghee on both sides of the parathas and fry them till they become crispy. When the color of the paratha becomes golden brown, take it off the pan.
  • Prepare all the mint parathas in the same way. Now serve the parathas with curd or chutney.
