Cricket News Desk. Former Indian cricketer Atul Bedade was accused of sexual harassment by some female players. After this he was suspended. Now Baroda Cricket Association has lifted his suspension but has removed him from the post of coach.

Women players made allegations
Former Indian Atul Bedade, who played 13 ODIs in his career, was suspended in March this year pending investigation. Several female players had accused him of sexual harassment and public humiliation. Now the BCA has withdrawn his suspension but he has been sacked from the post.

After receiving a complaint against Bedade, the CEO and Senior Human Resource Manager conducted a preliminary inquiry into the matter. The issue was discussed in the Apex Council meeting held on June 2, 2020. After this, the apex council lifted the suspension imposed on him but dismissed him from the post.

It is said about Atul Bedade that he used to hit sixes on the demand of the audience. He played 64 matches in his first class career and scored a total of 3136 runs. He scored a total of 158 runs in 13 matches in his international career, which also includes a half-century.
