Lenovo's new gaming tablet Legion Y700's first look unveiled, it will have so many special features including 8.8 inch display

Tech News Desk – Lenovo is all set to launch its new gaming tablet. We are talking about Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024). Ahead of the launch, Lenovo has officially showcased the design of its next-generation Legion Y700 (2024) gaming tablet. This upcoming tab has a sleek matte black finish with a straight edge design. It is said to be launched in China on September 29.

The tablet has a rectangular camera module with two rear cameras with 13-megapixel sensors. It has a 'Legion' logo at the back, while the Lenovo logo is at the bottom. The company says that this tablet with a compact form will give a premium 'pro' experience. Its screen size will be 8.8 inches. According to the company, the Y700 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is better than its previous model Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. The tablet was also recently spotted on Geekbench, with a single-core score of 2,209 and a multi-core score of 6,509, which suggests that its performance will see a big upgrade. It is being said that it will get 12GB of RAM, which will further enhance its capabilities for gaming and other tasks. However, Lenovo has not yet revealed the display specifications, storage options or battery capacity of this new tablet. But it is expected to be largely based on the previous generation model.

The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) model comes with an 8-inch display with 2560×1600 pixels resolution, 343 ppi pixel density, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 500 nits peak brightness. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for fast-paced games.

Talking about the camera, the Y700 (2023) model had a 13-megapixel dual rear camera system and an 8-megapixel front camera. Powering the tablet was a 6550mAh battery that supported 45W Super Flash Charging, as well as two USB Type-C ports for simultaneous charging and headphone use. This model also featured bypass charging technology to help preserve battery and maintain performance during gaming sessions.
