Mumbai, Sep 22 (IANS) Bollywood filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan on Sunday celebrated the wedding of Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth as well as the success of actor Rajkummar Rao's biggest hit film Stree 2 with friends.
Farah Khan shared a video on Instagram. In the clip, Aditi and Siddharth are seen cutting the cake and then feeding lyricist Javed Akhtar first. Rajkummar Rao is seen cutting the dessert, while Saqib Saleem is seen whistling.
Farah captioned the post, “Lots of friends celebrating.” She also tagged Aditi Rao Hydari, Rajkummar Rao in the caption.
Many others including actress Huma Qureshi and Sajid Khan were also present on this occasion.
On September 16, actress Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth officially announced that the two are getting married.
Taking to their respective Instagram handles, the couple shared pictures from their traditional wedding. In the picture, the actress is dressed in golden attire and the actor opted for white for his South Indian wedding.
The caption reads, “You are my sun, my moon and all my stars…' Remain my soulmate for eternity.'
Talking about 'Stree 2', according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, this film is the first Hindi film to earn Rs 600 crore on Sunday.
Stree 2 is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana. The story is based on a group of friends who have to defeat an evil entity that kidnaps the women of Chanderi.
Similarly, in Stree-2, the actors have brought the horror comedy to life with their acting. From the beginning to the end of the film, not even once did it feel that the film is boring. While in part-1 of Stree, the actors were entertaining the audience by exorcising the ghost of the woman, in Stree-2, all the actors were seen saving the women from the goblin demon.
