– Visited Kashi Vishwanath Dham and saw the grandeur of the temple
Varanasi, 23 September (HS). Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited the court of Shri Kashi Vishwanath on Monday. The actress performed Abhishek and Puja of Baba's holy Jyotirling amidst chanting of Vedic mantras in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. After the darshan pujan, the actress visited Kashi Vishwanath Dham. During the visit, the actress looked delighted to see the grandeur of the Dham.
During this time, the devotees present in the temple, on seeing Shilpa Shetty, chanted Har Har Mahadev traditionally. Shilpa Shetty, who has made a special identity for her fitness in Bollywood, expressed her happiness after offering prayers at the temple. A crowd of young fans also gathered at the gate number four of the temple to take selfies with the actress.
