Bike News Desk –Bajaj is rapidly increasing the range of its Chetak electric scooter. Recently, the company has launched a new Blue 3202 variant. This new model comes with many affordable variants, which has increased its sales. Customers are now waiting for the model with swappable batteries. Last year, the company had said that it is working on a new electric scooter, in which the battery can be easily replaced. This will allow users to continue their journey without charging. However, the battery in this scooter can also be charged at home.

Features of the new variant
Bajaj has kept the ex-showroom price of Chetak Blue 3202 at Rs 1.15 lakh. New cells have been installed in it, which claim to give more range without changing the battery capacity. Its range has increased from 126 km to 137 km. The earlier Urban variant was priced at Rs 1.23 lakh, i.e. this new variant has been brought cheaper by Rs 8,000.

Charging and Features
Chetak Blue 3202 takes 5 hours 50 minutes to fully charge with a 650W charger. Its features include keyless ignition, color LCD display, sports mode and Bluetooth connectivity. The top speed of this electric scooter is 73 kilometers per hour. It can be purchased in four colors – blue, white, black and gray.

New Chetak 3201
Apart from this, the company has also launched a new edition called Chetak 3201 in August. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.30 lakh and it can also be purchased from e-commerce platform Amazon. The range of this scooter on full charge is 136 km. Chetak 3201 has got IP 67 rating, which makes it water resistant. It includes features like Bluetooth connectivity, color TFT display and auto hazard light.
