For this, every insurance company has a grievance redressal officer. But even there your complaint is not resolved. Then there are other places where you can file a complaint.

If the insurance company is not giving you the insurance claim despite your repeated requests. Then you can go to the Grievance Redressal Officer of the insurance company and lodge a complaint. For this, if you want, you can go to the nearest branch and lodge a complaint. Otherwise, you can register your complaint online through mail from home. In most cases, it has been seen that such complaints are resolved at the company level itself.

If you have not received the claim even after contacting the Grievance Redressal Officer, you can also file a complaint with IRDA. Generally, action is taken on your complaint within 15 days of filing a complaint with the insurance company. But if this does not happen, you can file a complaint with IRDA. For this, you can register your complaint by visiting the official website of IRDA, complaint@irdai.gov.in. Or you can also register your complaint by calling the helpline number.

If your problem is not resolved even by IRDA, then you can contact the Insurance Ombudsman. There are Insurance Ombudsman at 17 places in the country. You can go there and lodge a complaint against the insurance company. To lodge a complaint, you have to go to the office of the Insurance Ombudsman and fill Form P-II and Form P-III. If you want, you can also lodge a complaint online. But for this, you will have to send all the documents to the Insurance Ombudsman through hard copy.
