Goa Aloo Bhaji Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic A pinch of asafoetida
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric coriander
  • water as required
  • Garnish 1/4 tsp sugar 1 tbsp oil

How to make Govan Aloo Bhaji

  • 1. First of all wash and boil the potatoes. Once done, cut it into bite-sized cubes
  • .2. Now heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida and green chillies.
  • 3. Once done, add chopped potatoes, garlic and spices (salt, sugar and turmeric powder) and mix well.
  • Cook for 4.3 to 4 minutes. Do not mash the potato cubes
  • 5. Add some water to make gravy. (Make sure to add it slowly.) Stir well, cover and cook for about 4-5 minutes
  • .6. Once the vegetables are cooked, garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot!
