Big revelation on Champions Trophy Final, Pakistan came in tension, final venue will be decided according to Team India, watch video

Cricket News Desk. There is no information yet on whether the Indian team will participate in the Champions Trophy to be hosted by Pakistan next year or not, but a big update is coming out regarding the final match. If reports are to be believed, the Champions Trophy final could be shifted from Lahore to Dubai, provided India is successful in reaching the final of the tournament! The report on the tournament, which runs from 19 February to 9 March, was published in Tuesday's The Telegraph. However, no official confirmation has been made in this regard. The Telegraph reported on Tuesday that alternative venues for India's matches were being 'informally' considered and that if India qualifies, the final would be held in Dubai.

India has not toured Pakistan since July 2008 due to strained political relations between the neighboring countries. Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had said that the tournament will be held in his country and all the matches including India will be played in Pakistan. Naqvi also said that preparations for the tournament are going as per plan.

Last year, Pakistan was the official host of the Asia Cup, but the continental tournament was eventually jointly organized with India and the matches were held in Sri Lanka. At that time, BCCI had said that the reason for not coming to Pakistan tour was not getting permission from the Indian government. India last played a bilateral series with Pakistan in 2012–13 and since then the two countries have met only in global events.
