Bike News Desk – The Kawasaki KLX 230 has been officially unveiled in India. Testing of this sports motorcycle was going on in India for a long time. Now this bike has been officially revealed in India. Kawasaki has started booking for it for Rs 5,000. However, its price will be revealed in December 2024. Let us know its information in detail.

The design of Kawasaki KLX 230 is quite amazing. There are low body panels all around, which will not cause much damage even if the bike falls during off-roading. It has a small headlight with a cowl around it. It has a high-set mudguard, small fuel tank and stubby tail. Its seat height is 880mm long. Talking about the powertrain of this bike, it has a 233cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is capable of generating power of 18.1bhp at 8,000rpm and torque of 18.3Nm at 6,400rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Kawasaki claims that it comes with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets a tubular steel frame, which has a 37mm telescopic fork at the front and link-type mono-shock suspension with adjustable preload at the rear.

The bike is equipped with switchable ABS
The bike rides on a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel with MRF tyres. Talking about braking system, it has 265mm disc at the front and 220mm disc at the rear. The bike comes with switchable ABS, allowing you to lock the rear and slide the bike while off-roading. Kawasaki KLX 230 has features like full digital display with smartphone connectivity. KLX 230 has been introduced in two color options Lime Green and Battle Grey. It will compete with Hero Xpulse 200 4V.
