Hyundai introduced a new electric car for off-road driving, will run 355 km in a single charge, know the features

Car News Desk – Hyundai has launched Inster Cross in the global market. This is a new, off-road focused version of the Inster EV that will arrive in India by the end of 2026. By the end of 2024, the Hyundai Instar EV Cross will begin production at the brand's manufacturing facility in Korea. Compared to the Inster EV, the new off-road version comes with bold styling elements that add to its rugged looks. Hyundai says the Inster Cross offers an option for those looking for a more adventurous-looking EV. With some cosmetic changes, the Inster Cross looks much more rugged than the regular model.

It comes with new square front and rear bumpers, black cladding around the wheel arches, faux skid plate and new 17-inch alloy wheels. The new roof rack included as standard in the model lineup further enhances its outdoorsy look. Hyundai has also introduced a new Amazon Green matte color scheme along with all the usual colors available with the Inster EV. The Hyundai Inster EV Cross has a unique color and trim combination. Talking about the features, Inster Cross has a 10.25-inch center touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging dock in the center console, steering wheel with interactive pixel light and Hyundai's BlueLink connected car services. .

The car comes with comfortable seats and steering wheel, one-touch sunroof, 64-color LED ambient lighting, Hyundai Smart Sense technology, rear view monitor, seven standard airbags, parking collision-avoidance assist rear, lane keep assist, parking distance warning and many more. According to reports, the Hyundai Inster Cross will be offered with two battery packs – 96bhp, 42kWh and 113bhp, 49kWh. These offer a WLTP range of 300 km and 355 km respectively. Both the motors will have a single-motor setup. Its battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes using a 120kW DC charger. However, it is not yet clear whether the car will get 4X4 or AWD (all-wheel drive) system or not.
