Recipe News Desk!!! Today we are going to make special gram flour barfi for some special occasions. This is a very granular and tasty barfi. By eating this you will feel as if you are eating Beta Halwa. It is very easy to make and if you eat it once, you will like it again and again. So, on the special occasion of your family, make granulated gram flour barfi and enjoy its taste.

Semolina – Semolina – ½ cup (90 grams)
Ghee – 160 grams
Gram flour – 2 cups (250 grams)
Milk – 2 tbsp
Melon seeds – ½ cup (60 grams)
Sugar – 1.5 cups (325 grams)
Cardamom – 8, crushed

– Add ½ cup of fine semolina in the pan and fry it while stirring continuously. As soon as the pan gets hot, reduce the flame to medium. – After frying for 2 minutes, add 160 grams of ghee and melt the ghee while stirring continuously. When the ghee melts, add 2 cups of gram flour and fry on medium flame while stirring continuously. When the color of the gram changes and a nice aroma starts coming out, add 2 tablespoons of milk 1-1 while stirring continuously. – Add milk and fry for 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame and keep the pan aside and keep stirring till the pan cools down. – Add ½ cup melon seeds in another pan and fry. Fry it continuously on medium flame till it becomes crisp. When they become light in color and swell, turn off the flame and keep stirring for some time. – Then take it out in a bowl. Process of making sugar syrup – Put ghee in the tray and grease it well.

Now add 1.5 cups of sugar and ¾ cup of water in a wide pan and cook on high flame while stirring for a while till the sugar melts. – After the sugar dissolves completely and boils, cook for 2 minutes. – When it becomes a single string syrup, turn off the flame. Now add 8 coarsely crushed cardamoms to it and mix well, in this way the syrup will be ready. Process of making gram flour barfi: Add the syrup to the roasted semolina and gram flour and mix well. If it becomes too thin then cook it on low-medium flame to thicken it slightly. Also add roasted seeds (some have to be saved) and cook for 5 minutes while stirring continuously. Then take out this mixture in a smooth tray and mix well. Garnish with remaining roasted seeds. Press them lightly with a spoon to set. – Now keep it outside for 1 hour to set. At the end of the time mark cutting marks on it. Then keep it to freeze overnight. Separate its pieces on the next day, gram flour barfi with special taste will be ready. Serve it and enjoy its taste.
