How to make Paneer Gravy

  • Take a nonstick pan, add oil in it, when the oil becomes hot, then add all the spices in it. When they start roasting in oil, you will know by their aroma that they are ready.
  • Now add onion to it and fry it well. When the onion starts turning brown, add ginger and garlic paste to it and fry it together.
  • When ginger and garlic start mixing well with onion, then add tomato puree to it.
  • Add salt to it and cook it well.
  • When this mixture is fried properly, oil will start separating from the mixture. Then add red chilli and coriander powder to it.
  • Add cashew paste and fry it for 1 more minute.
  • When the paste starts roasting with the mixture, then add water to it. Add water carefully so that the gravy does not become too thin.
  • After adding water, add garam masala and kasoori methi on top. Keep in mind that when you add Kasuri Methi to the vegetable, rub it on your palm before adding it. This will convert it into powder and the vegetable will taste good.
  • Now add 2 inch chopped paneer pieces in it and cook it with gravy for 5 minutes.
