Medical department alert on deaths happening in tribal area of ​​Udaipur

Udaipur, October 21 (IANS). Many patients are dying one after the other due to seasonal diseases in the tribal areas of Udaipur district of Rajasthan. The medical department has been alerted regarding this. Deputy CMHO Deepak Jain reacted to this.

In fact, so far 17 people have died in Ghata Gram Panchayat of Devla in Udaipur district in about a month. Most of the dead are children. Whether the deaths occurring in tribal areas are due to seasonal diseases or due to some other reason has not been revealed yet. But, the villagers are seeing it as a mysterious disease.

Local people are frightened by the continuous deaths. It is being told that out of these 17 people, 16 died due to wrong treatment by Bengali doctors. Sarpanch Nikaram Garasia has informed the administration about this serious situation.

After the matter came to light, the medical department has been alerted and medical camps have been organized in four villages of Ghata Gram Panchayat. Deputy CMHO Deepak Jain said that the medical department had received the information on Saturday, after which the department is ready regarding this.

He told that the medical department team from Kotra has also reached the spot. Patients are being treated door to door. The medical department is investigating the entire matter. Deaths are also possible due to seasonal diseases. At the same time, more than 400 patients have been treated so far.

Deepak Jain said that door-to-door surveys are being conducted by forming different teams. All the deaths that have been reported are being verified door to door. The medical officer in charge himself is monitoring it. The entire department is alert regarding the continuous deaths, monitoring is being done and factual reports are being prepared. This work will continue continuously for the next several days.
