Ayodhya's Deepotsav is one of the biggest Diwali celebrations in India. The celebration is even more special this year due to the completion of the new Ram temple in 2024. There are reports that this year more than 20 lakh lamps will be lit on the banks of river Saryu.

2) Ram Leela program
Traditional drama depicting episodes from Ramayana is also a part of Ayodhya's Diwali celebrations. Usually it starts in the afternoon and continues till evening. The journey of Lord Rama from his exile to his victory over Ravana is shown in the play.

3) Heart will be happy after seeing the beautiful view

During Deepotsav, devotional and cultural programs take place at different places in Ayodhya. These include bhajans, classical dance and recitation of Ramayana. There are special places for these programs at Ram Katha Park and Saryu Ghat, which continue throughout the day and night.
