Alia Bhatt's film Jigra was released in theaters on 11 October 2024. In this action thriller film, the story of brother and sister has been presented in a very emotional manner. The film is directed by Vasan Bala, who has co-written the script with Debashish Irengbam. The film has been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, Soumen Mishra and Alia Bhatt herself under Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. Apart from Alia, Vedang Raina has played the lead role in the film. The audience did not like the story of the film much. According to Sacknik, Jigra had earned Rs 4 crore 55 lakh on the first day.
