Mobile News Desk – South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung is preparing to launch a triple fold phone soon. Recently Huawei launched Mate XT Ultimate Edition, which is now expected to give tough competition. On the other hand, some other companies like Xiaomi, Honor and Oppo are also working rapidly on smartphones with tri-fold display.

According to a report by ZDNet Korea, Samsung is planning to introduce an entry-level clamshell-style foldable smartphone as well as a tri-fold smartphone with a screen that folds twice. It is expected that this phone will be launched by next year. It has been claimed in this report that the components of the tri-fold smartphone have been planned. Let us tell you that some time ago Samsung had launched Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 phones in its foldable smartphone series. However, the demand for these smartphones in the market was less than expected.

Huawei launches tri-fold phone
Huawei introduced Mate XT Ultimate Design in China this year. This was the first tri-fold phone. The price of the base variant of this smartphone with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is CNY 19,999 (approximately Rs 2,35,900). At the same time, the prices of its 512 GB and 1 TB storage variants are CNY 21,999 (approximately Rs 2,59,500) and CNY 23,999 (approximately Rs 2,83,100) respectively.

When unfolded, its screen is 10.2 inches (3,184 x 2,232 pixels). Its flexible LTPO OLED screen measures 7.9 inches (2,048 x 2,232 pixels) when folded once and 6.4 inches (1,008 x 2,232 pixels) when folded the second time. Now it will be interesting to see whether Samsung's triple fold phone will be able to live up to people's expectations or its sales will decline. In the coming time, it may have to face direct competition from many other companies.
