In this film, Aamir Khan, who is called Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, played the lead role. Blockbuster 'Dangal' had created history by earning more than Rs 2 thousand crores worldwide.
Director Nitish Tiwari's 'Dangal' featured Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. This film was based on the real life of the Phogat family. Mahavir Phogat's younger daughter Babita Phogat said in an interview that the film earned Rs 2,000 crore at the box office but we were given only Rs 1 crore.
Babita Phogat was asked how much money did she get out of Rs 2,000 crore. On this Babita said, we did not get even 1 percent. Only about one crore was found. It doesn't hurt because my father told us the same thing. That means we need people's love and respect. Ignore all these things. Because, because of that film we got a lot of love from the people.
The film was directed by Nitish Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar, Sakshi Tanwar, Girish Kulkarni, Ritwik Sahore and Aparshakti Khurana.
