But for less effort, make simple puri only. If you want to try some different and tasty Khasta Puri recipe this festive season, then definitely make these crispy puris made with raw potatoes and gram dal. Note down the easy recipe.

Crispy Puri of Raw Potato and Chana Dal
half cup gram dal

One large sized raw potato

Flour

two spoons of semolina

Salt

nigella seeds half spoon

half teaspoon crushed red chilli

finely chopped coriander leaves

Kasoori fenugreek one spoon

turmeric one fourth spoon

Red chilli powder half spoon

one spoon white sesame seeds

Method to make Crispy Puri of Raw Potato and Chana Dal
-First of all, soak gram dal for two hours.

-When it gets thoroughly soaked, put it in the mixer jar. Also peel the raw potatoes, wash them and cut them into thin pieces. Grind both of them together finely and make a paste.

-Now take flour in a plate and mix semolina in it.

-Also add nigella seeds, finely chopped green coriander, kasoori methi.

-Add some salt along with crushed red chilli and red chilli.

-Now add prepared potato and gram dal paste and mix.

-Knead a stiff dough by adding water as required.

-Now make puris of this flour and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top and roll them.

-Just fry it till golden in oil and your crispy puri is ready. Apart from festivals, you can also serve it in tiffin.
