What will be the future of Dhoni, Rohit and Pant, suspense increases regarding retention!

New Delhi, October 29 (IANS). The picture of retained players in IPL 2025 will be clear by 31st October. Diwali festival is also on this day, hence the excitement among the fans is going to increase further. This time many teams can change their captain before the start of the season. 10 franchises will now have to submit the list of their retained and released players within two days.

BCCI has recently issued new rules regarding retention. According to this, a franchise can retain a maximum of 6 players only. If a team retains less than 6 players, then in that case the franchise will get a chance to use the Right to Match card during the auction.

This time all the franchises are taking a lot of time before releasing the retention list. However, there are some names whose names are considered certain to be retained, but the official seal has not been given yet, hence they too are under doubt at the moment. MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant are some of the big names of the league about whom many speculations are being made.

There is also speculation about the retirement of former Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It is being said in many reports that Rohit Sharma can leave Mumbai Indians. Whereas news is also coming that Rishabh Pant can also be seen playing with a new team instead of Delhi Capitals.

Not only this name but a lot of changes are expected in the entire team, from captaincy reshuffle to bowlers and batsmen. However, there are some teams which have already shown strong intention of showing faith in the old faces. The names which are not in the list of retained players on October 31 will be included in the mega auction.
