Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan first met in 1984 at a party. Here Gauri was dancing with one of her friends. Shahrukh wanted to ask her to dance, but she was feeling shy. When King Khan gathered courage and asked Gauri to dance, Gauri refused him by making an excuse. However, fate had planned to bring them together.
