How much tax on which vehicle?
Both Tata Curve and Nexon vehicles have a 1.2 liter engine. But the difference here is the length of these two. The length of the curve is more than that of Nexon due to which there is higher tax on the curve. A total tax of 29% is levied on vehicles whose length is less than 4 meters. But vehicles whose length is more than 4 meters attract 43 percent tax. Not only this, the tax on vehicles with engines less than 1200cc is also less. Whereas cars with engines more than 1200cc attract higher taxes.

According to government guidelines, vehicles running on petrol and CNG, which have an engine of less than 1200 cc and whose length is less than 4 meters, are charged a total tax of 29%, while vehicles running on petrol and CNG are charged a total tax of 29%. If the engine installed in a vehicle is less than 1200 cc, but its length is more than 4 meters, then the government charges a total tax of 43% on such vehicles.
