Royal Enfield's electric bike Flying Flea C6 will be launched in this country first, not India, know what special will be available
Bike News Desk – Powerful motorcycle manufacturing company Royal Enfield has introduced its first electric motorcycle Flying Flea C6. The company's upcoming electric motorcycles will be brought under the sub-brand Flying Flea. However, the Flying Flea C6 will be launched in the US and Europe before India. Siddharth Lal, managing director of Eicher Motors, the company that owns Royal Enfield, said that he believes that there is more demand for expensive products like Flying Flea C6 in the US and European markets.
However, along with this he said that this electric motorcycle is likely to get good response in the country also. “India is definitely always important for us. However, there may be better demand in other markets initially,” Lall said. Lal said the company has no plans to enter the entry-level segment of motorcycles. The design of the Flying Flea C6 is inspired by the Flying Flea motorcycle of the 1940s, which was built for use in World War II. In World War II, these motorcycles were dropped using parachutes. Its use helped the soldiers to reach remote areas.
The design of this electric motorcycle of Royal Enfield gives a different look. It has round LED headlights and girder forks at the front. However, unlike the company's petrol-powered motorcycles, it has been provided with only 17-inch tyres. It also has a forged aluminum frame. This means that the company wants to keep this motorcycle in the modern classic segment with good range. With this, it will be able to give tough competition to the electric two-wheelers already present in the market. The height of this electric motorcycle is somewhat low. A two-seater version of the Flying Flea C6 will also be offered. It will also have a round TFT display.
It is estimated that this electric motorcycle may have a fixed battery with a range of 100-150 kilometers. It may also have better power and torque. The company has not given information about the remaining specifications of this electric motorcycle. Sales of electric two-wheelers have increased rapidly in the last few years. Many automobile companies are launching their models in this segment.
