Ingredients for making Methi Paratha

Wheat flour- 2-3 cups
Fenugreek leaves- 2 cups
Curd- 1/4 cup
Celery- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste- 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp
Oil – as required
Salt- as per taste

How to make Methi Paratha

To make delicious Methi Paratha in winter, first of all take fenugreek. After this, wash it thoroughly and pluck its leaves and chop them finely. Now take a big bowl and sift the flour in it. Then add fenugreek leaves to it and mix well. – Now add curd to it and mix. After this, add turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, celery, ginger paste and salt to this mixture and mix well. – Now knead the dough by adding water little by little. After this, oil will also be added to the flour. By doing this the parathas will become soft and crunchy. Now cover the dough with a wet cotton cloth and keep it aside for about 30 minutes.

After this, take the dough and knead it again and make equal quantity of balls. However, you can give it any shape you want. – After this, keep a nonstick pan/griddle on medium flame to heat. When the pan becomes hot, add some oil to it and spread it all around. -Also take a dough and roll it into a circular or triangular shape like a paratha. Now put the paratha on the pan and apply oil on both sides and cook well. When the paratha becomes golden brown and crisp, take it out in a plate. Similarly, we will prepare all the methi parathas one by one. Now you can serve the prepared methi paratha with raita and pickle.
