Ingredients to make Raw Papaya Barfi
Raw papaya – 1 kg
Milk powder – 5 tbsp
Sugar – 2 bowls
Desi Ghee – 2 tbsp
Chopped dry fruits – 1 tablespoon
Food color – 1 pinch
Raw Papaya Barfi Recipe
To make nutritious and delicious barfi from raw papaya, first wash the papaya and then cut it and grate it. After this, heat a pan on medium flame and add grated papaya to it and fry it. – After frying for some time, add sugar to it, mix well and cover the pan and cook for 15-20 minutes.
In this time the sugar will melt and mix well with the grated papaya. Then add desi ghee, milk powder, dry fruits and mix everything well and let it cook for some time. After this turn off the gas. Now grease the bottom of a plate or tray by applying desi ghee. – When the mixture remains slightly warm, place it in a tray and spread it evenly all around. Now leave the barfi like this for some time to set. When the barfi sets, cut it into pieces of your desired size with the help of a knife and take them out in a vessel. Delicious and healthy raw papaya barfi is ready. It can be stored in an air tight container.
