iPhone users are facing these problems after iOS 18 update, here are some great tips to fix them.
Tech News Desk – Apple iOS 18 is one of the biggest software updates released for iPhones in the last few years, but since its launch, many users are reporting that they are not receiving notifications from their favorite apps. If you are also not getting any notification on your iPhone, then here we will tell you 5 ways to fix it, by trying which you can fix this problem. Let us know about it…
toggle app notifications
If you're not getting notifications from a selected app, it's likely that you've turned off notifications for that app. To see if this is the case, go to your device's Settings, tap Notifications, and find the app you're not receiving notifications from. If you turned off notifications for an app, simply turn on the 'Allow notifications' toggle, but if notifications are already on for that app, turn the toggle off and on again and see if the issue is fixed. Is it or not?
Check in-app notification settings
While iPhone allows users to turn on in-app notifications, some apps have their own notification settings. For example, you can control which notifications WhatsApp sends by opening app settings and going to the 'Notifications' section.
Turn on Notification Center on lock screen
Are you seeing notifications on the home screen, but no notifications on the lock screen? Chances are you've disabled the Notification Center. To turn it on, launch the Settings app on your iPhone, tap 'Face ID & Passcode' and turn on the toggle called 'Notification Center'.
turn off focus mode
Some time ago, Apple introduced a feature called 'Focus Mode' which automatically mutes any notifications when turned on. To check if it's turned on on your phone, open Control Center on the device and tap and hold Focus. Check if this mode is on here or not.
Keep app refresh running in the background
One reason why you may not be getting notifications for an app may be that it is not refreshing itself in the background. To turn it on, open the Settings app, tap General, and select the option called 'Background App Refresh'. Now, select 'Wi-Fi & Cellular Data', go back and turn on the feature for the apps you want to refresh in the background.
