The kind of work Amul is doing for the production of CBG is very good for sustainability. If it is converted on a large scale, it is certain that vehicles will also run on CBG in the coming years.” Bajaj CEO is very excited about CBG-powered bikes. However, it will take at least 2 years for them to be launched. It will take 3 years. Let us tell you that Bajaj has a strong presence in the electric and CNG segments (both two-wheelers and three-wheelers). These two account for about 44 percent of the brand's domestic revenue.
Amul MD Jayesh Mehta said that they are working together on the development of biogas for commercial purposes. Additionally, a Gujarat-based milk cooperative has joined hands with Maruti Suzuki to set up a CBG (compressed biogas) plant to reduce dependence on CNG in future.
