Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been arrested from California, USA. Anmol was included in the most wanted list of Mumbai Police in the case of firing at Salman Khan's house. His arrest can bring a big relief to Salman Khan, because this arrest is being considered a big success of the police against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Non-bailable warrants and searches in several states
The MCOCA court had already issued a non-bailable warrant against Anmol Bishnoi. Police of many states including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Mumbai were continuously trying to arrest him. Some time ago, the clampdown on Anmol became even tighter after the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang came up in the case of murder of former MLA Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai. After this, Mumbai Police sought help from the American Police and informed them that Anmol was hiding in America.
Process to bring Bishnoi to India started
According to sources, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has started the process of bringing Anmol Bishnoi to India. If everything goes well then Anmol can be brought to India in a few days. Indian intelligence agencies had recently received information that Anmol was hiding in America, on the basis of which American agencies arrested him. Now the focus of Indian agencies is on his return to India as soon as possible, so that he can be interrogated in this high-profile case.
Anmol Bishnoi and his criminal connections
Anmol Bishnoi is known to be an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and is also known as “Bhanu”. His first criminal incident took place in 2012 in Abohar, Punjab, when a case was registered against him under assault and Arms Act. After this he committed many more crimes, due to which his name and identity increased in the world of crime. At present, Anmol is also being investigated by NIA, and there are more than 18 criminal cases registered against him. Anmol Bishnoi's arrest may prove to be a turning point for Salman Khan, as further arrests in the ongoing investigation against him indicate that Salman Khan's security may get some relief.
