Car News Desk – Hyundai has introduced Hyundai Ioniq 9, its flagship model for electric vehicles. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is a three-row SUV that will go on sale in Korea and the USA in the first half of 2025. After this it will be introduced in European and other markets. Hyundai Ioniq 9: battery and range
Hyundai's new range-topping EV has a 110.3 kWh battery pack. After full charge, it will get a range of up to 620 km. It has smaller 19 inch wheels. It is based on Hyundai's E-GMP architecture. It charges from 10 percent to 80 percent in 24 minutes with a 350kW charger. It has a vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature, which allows the SUV to be used to charge any other electrical item.

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is offered in two trims, Long-Range and Performance, with RWD and AWD options. AWD is also standard in the Ioniq 9.
The LR RWD variant produces 218 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The rear axle-mounted motor takes 9.4 seconds to reach 100 kph and 6.8 seconds to accelerate to 80-120 kph.
The LR AWD variant produces 95 hp and 255 Nm of torque. The motor can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 6.7 seconds and 80 kph to 120 kph in 4.8 seconds.
The motor fitted in the top-spec Performance trim generates power of 218 hp. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds and 80-120 kmph in 3.4 seconds.

Hyundai Ioniq 9: Interior and features
Hyundai Ioniq 9 has been designed quite spectacularly. It is offered with six-seat and seven-seat configurations. The first two rows of seats have a massage function, while the second row seats have swivel seats that rotate a full 180 degrees. It has an adjustable console, which is being called Hyundai Universal Island 2.0.
It has an adjustable armrest, which can be accessed from the second row. It also has 5.6 liters and 12.6 liters of storage space in its upper and lower trays.
Talking about space, 620 liters of luggage room has been provided in the boot, which becomes 1,323 liters when the third row is folded.
Apart from the panoramic sunroof, the Ioniq 9 also gets a 12-inch infotainment touch screen and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster. It has a panoramic curved display.
It is also equipped with ambient lighting, roof-mounted air vents, multi-zone climate control, 100W USB-C ports in all three rows, and an 8-speaker sound system. It also has a 14-speaker Bose system and synthesized driving sounds.
