Ingredients for making curry

500 grams sour curd
1/2 cup gram flour
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt as per taste
water as required
100 grams spinach
For tempering:

2 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard
a pinch of asafoetida
2 dried red chillies
1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
a pinch of asafoetida
oil as required

Method to make Spinach Kadhi:

To make Spinach Kadhi, first prepare the Kadhi batter. For this you can buy buttermilk from the market, otherwise you can also make its solution by beating curd. So first of all make a batter by beating the curd well, if it seems thick then add 1 cup of water in it. After beating well, add gram flour, 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, salt as per taste and mix well. Now keep it aside.

– After making the curry solution, wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it finely. Also chop ginger, green chilli and garlic finely. – Now place the pan on the gas and add oil to it and heat it. When the oil is hot, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, dry red chilli, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds. – After this add ginger, green chilli and garlic and fry. When it is roasted, squeeze chopped spinach into it and mix it. Fry it well while stirring with a spoon. After 5 minutes add curry mixture on top and mix.

– After adding spinach, keep stirring the vegetable. When you feel that the kadhi has started rising well, leave the kadhi to cook on low to medium flame. After 20 minutes your kadhi will be completely ready. Enjoy with rice or roti
