The auction will take place in Jeddah on November 24, 2024. Mallika Sagar will start the auction. The names of the first 12 sets of players will be auctioned, which will also include famous players. This means that the names of the remaining players like Faf du Plessis, Sam Curran and Prithvi Shaw will come up for auction the next day.

Bidding will be held for 12 sets on the first day
The BCCI informed the franchises on Saturday night how the auction will be conducted. The names of 12 sets of players will be auctioned on the first day. During this, there will be one break of 30 minutes and two breaks of 15-15 minutes. Manav Suthar is an uncapped spinner and is ranked 84th in the auction list. Bidding will take place up to this number on the first day. As per Sportsstar report, the quick auction will be held at the end of the second day. For this, each franchisee will have to give maximum 25 names.

Not happy with the price of franchise brace
In the meeting held before the auction, the franchisees raised questions on the increased base price. BCCI clarified that Rs. 1 crore to Rs. Bidding took place between Rs 2 crore. There will be an increase of Rs 10 lakh. Base price Rs 1.25 crore. Will be Rs 1.30 crore. The method of raising bids is the same as last year: Rs. 5 lakh (up to Rs. 1 crore), Rs. 10 lakh (1 to 2 crore), Rs. 20 lakhs (2 to 5 crores) and Rs. 25 lakhs (above Rs 5 crores).
