Ingredients to make Samak Rice Cutlets
- Samak rice – 1 cup cooked
- Potato – 1 cup boiled
- Carrot – 1 grated
- Cumin – 1 tbsp
- Green chilli – 2 finely chopped
- Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
- Dry mango powder – one spoon
- Rock salt – as per taste
- Coriander – chopped as required
- cooking oil
How to make Samak Rice Cutlets
- Take cooked rice in a vessel.
- Add boiled potatoes and mash them well.
- Now add carrots, green chillies, black pepper powder, mango powder (lemon juice can also be added), rock salt, finely chopped coriander and cumin seeds and mix well.
- Now make small balls of this mixture and give them the shape of cutlets.
- Place the pan on the gas stove. Add some oil to it.
- Put three to four cutlets at a time on the pan and fry them. Cook it until it turns golden brown on both sides.
- Take it out in a plate and serve it hot with any chutney during the fast.
