IND vs AUS: Well done Bumrah… After Gaba, Kangaroos were robbed of their respect in Perth too, Australia faces black after 16 years

Cricket News Desk. India created history on Monday by registering the biggest win among the host nations (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) at the Optus Stadium in Perth. India bowled out Australia for 238 runs in the second innings, winning the match by 295 runs and taking a 1-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar series. The Indian team, which defeated Australia for the first time at Gabba in the last tour, gave Australia its first defeat this time at Aptus.

This victory is special for Team India

India has achieved some historic wins in the past, but this one should also be included in this list because neither Rohit, nor Gill, nor Jadeja, nor Ashwin, nor Shami. Two youngsters made their debut and the team's most experienced batsman Virat Kohli was out of form.

Nothing was good for India before this match. After 12 years, the team's morale was low after the 0-3 defeat to New Zealand at home, but what India did under the leadership of Bumrah in this four-day Test match will be remembered for years.

Bumrah's brigade breached the fort of Perth
After two defeats at home in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Australia had prepared to welcome India in the Perth Test, but little did they know that the pride of the Kangaroos, who were invincible till now in Aptus, would be shattered here. Perth has one of the fastest testing sites in the world. India won the series in 2018, but lost here in Optus.

Looking at the way the team played cricket under the leadership of Bumrah in the last three days, the Indian team has once again become a strong contender to win the series. However, Australia is famous for comebacks and hence will try its best to make a comeback in the day-night (pink ball) Test in Adelaide.

Veterans returned to form, youth also showed strength
The way the Indian team showed its dominance against Australia in Perth, hardly any team in the last two decades has given such a shock to the Kangaroos at their home. The good news for the Indian team is that experienced batsman Virat Kohli and young Yashasvi Jaiswal have regained their form with centuries, while fast bowler Siraj has also boosted his confidence by taking wickets. However, the best part was that two young Indian debutants Harshit Rana and Nitish Reddy also impressed.

WTC reaches back to the top of the table
India returned to the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) table after defeating Australia by 295 runs in the first Test in Perth on Monday. India maintained a good lead at the top of the WTC table but slipped to second place after a crushing 0-3 defeat to New Zealand on home soil.
The defeat to New Zealand also dealt a blow to India's hopes of making it to the WTC final next year. India now have 110 points from 15 matches with nine wins, five losses and one draw, which is 61.11 percentage points. Australia is in second place with a score of 57.69 percent. They have 90 points from 13 matches with eight wins, four losses and one draw.
