Auto News Desk – Ducati, the third luxury automotive brand after Mercedes-Benz and BMW, has announced an increase in the prices of its vehicles. Ducati said it will increase the prices of its motorcycles from January 2025. Ducati is the first two-wheeler manufacturer to do so. Italian superbike brand Ducati said that it is going to increase the prices of select models and variants in India. The new increased prices will be effective from January 1, 2025.
Increase in company's operating costs
The latest price hike will be applicable across all official Ducati dealerships across India in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. Ducati says the company's operating costs have increased due to overall inflation and rising commodity prices. Due to this the prices of motorcycles have increased. Ducati India Managing Director Bipul Chandra said the updated prices will be introduced across select models in the Ducati range while maintaining the company's luxury positioning in the premium motorcycle segment.
Ducati's upcoming launches
Ducati plans to launch several motorcycles next year. The Italian bike company has introduced the 2025 Multistrada V4 and 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, Scrambler Ikon and Scrambler Full Throttle, Scrambler 10th Anniversary Rizoma Edition, the all-new Panigale V2 and the Streetfighter V2 in the last few months. The prices of all these models will be announced in the coming months when they become available in India.
Bologna-based superbike brand Ducati will launch three new motorcycles globally at the next edition of the world premiere on November 28, 2024. According to media reports, these bikes may come to India in the future. The time of their arrival in India is said to be by the end of 2025.
