Sonakshi Sinha could not answer a question related to Ramayana five years ago, on which she was recently criticized by 'Shaktimaan' fame Mukesh Khanna. Mukesh Khanna said that Sonakshi not being able to respond was not his fault, but her father Shatrughan Sinha's fault. Now Sonakshi has responded to Mukesh Khanna by making a big post on Instagram.
Explaining the importance of 'Shaktiman' character in an interview, Mukesh Khanna said, nowadays boys are interested in girlfriends and boyfriends. This is all because of the internet. After a few years, these children will not remember the names of their grandparents. A girl did not even know for whom Hanuman had brought Sanjeevani Booti. It was asked in the interview whether this girl is Sonakshi Sinha. On this Mukesh Khanna said yes. This happened because the girl was not properly educated. Her father's name is Shatrughan Sinha, her brothers are Luv and Kush, but she does not know about Ramayana. In my opinion it's not her fault, it's her father's fault.

Sonakshi wrote in her Instagram story, Dear Sir, Mukesh Khanna ji…I just watched your interview. Many years ago you had said that I could not give the correct answer to a question asked on Ramayana in a programme, it was not my fault but my father's fault. Let me remind you that there was someone else on the hot seat that day who did not know the answer to the same question, but you chose to take my name.
Sonakshi further wrote, Yes, I probably could not answer that day. Forgetting is human nature and I had forgotten for whom Sanjeevani had brought the boot, but you have also forgotten some of the lessons of forgiveness and forgetting taught by Lord Shri Ram. Remember this next time. If Lord Shri Ram can forgive Manthara, can forgive Kaikeyi and can forgive Ravana after the war, then you can forget this small thing.
Sonakshi further said, Actually, it is not that I need your apology, but I think you should forget it. You made such nasty statements about my upbringing, yet it was his upbringing that forced me to say what I said today with respect.
