'Missing Ladies' selected from 29 films

'Missing Ladies' was selected from India for the 97th Academy Awards i.e. 'Oscar 2025'. India had sent the film 'Missing Ladies' for the Best International (Foreign) Film category. A total of 29 films including Missing Ladies were sent by the Film Federation. The committee selected 'Missing Ladies' from 29 films including Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', Kartik Aryan's 'Chandu Champion', Prabhas's 'Kalki 2898 AD', Malayalam film 'Attam', Rajkumar Rao's 'Srikanth'. Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava, Chhaya Kadam, Ravi Kishan and Geeta Aggarwal Sharma have played important roles in the film.

'Anuja' shortlisted

Although 'Missing Ladies' is out of the Oscar race, Guneet Monga Kapoor's live-action short film 'Anuja' has been shortlisted. This short film discusses the issue of child labor in the textile industry. It has many actors including Nagesh Bhosle.——————————–
