Yes, almond halwa made in winter is also one such tasty sweet dish. Many nutrients like protein, vitamins, fiber, and minerals are found in almonds. Which also gives many health benefits like sharpening memory and keeping the skin healthy and glowing. Not only this, due to the warming nature of almonds, it also maintains body heat in winters. The taste of almond halwa is liked by children as well as adults. As tasty as this halwa is to eat, it is equally easy to make.

Ingredients to make Almond Halwa
-1 cup almonds

-3/4 cup milk

3/4 cup sugar

-Saffron

-1/2 cup ghee

-1 teaspoon wheat flour

-1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

-2 teaspoons chopped almonds for garnish

How to make Almond Halwa
To make almond halwa, first take almonds in a vessel, soak them in water for about 8 hours and keep them aside. If you want, you can also soak almonds in lukewarm water. After the stipulated time, when the almonds get thoroughly soaked, remove their peels and separate them. Now grind the peeled almonds coarsely in a mixer without adding water. After this, heat ghee in the pan. When the ghee is hot, add almond paste to it and fry it well on medium flame for about 10 minutes. Now add wheat flour to this almond mixture and fry. Now mix water in milk in a pan on second gas and boil it. After frying the almond and wheat mixture well, add water and milk to it and cook for about 5 minutes. After this, add sugar on top and let the halwa cook for about 2 minutes on medium flame. After 2 minutes, turn off the gas and serve the halwa garnished with cardamom powder and almond slivers.
