Tech News Desk – OnePlus has officially announced that it will launch the most awaited OnePlus Ace 5 in China on December 26. OnePlus Ace 5, which will be launched in India as OnePlus 13R, is scheduled to be launched on January 7, 2025. This launch has now been announced by the company itself. Under the OnePlus Ace 5 series, the company is going to introduce two phones which will be OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. Whereas the focus of Indian fans will be on Ace 5, because it will be launched in India as OnePlus 13R. Many features of OnePlus Ace 5 have been leaked before the launch. The OnePlus Ace 5 packs impressive features, making it an exciting device for gaming enthusiasts and multi-tasking users. This phone is expected to have a 6.78-inch BOE X2 8T LTPO display, which may come with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Ace 5 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The company claims that the phone can maintain a stable 120fps frame rate even after five hours of heavy gaming. In terms of memory and storage, the OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The phone is also rumored to have a massive 6,000mAh battery, which will keep the phone running for an entire day. Charging won't be an issue, as the Ace 5 supports 100W fast-wired charging. For photos and videos, the phone may have a triple-camera setup at the back. The phone is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there is likely to be a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

OnePlus Ace 5 will run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. However, the Indian variant of the phone i.e. OnePlus 13R is expected to have OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The OnePlus 13R includes an IR blaster with classic alerts. It also has the slider which many OnePlus fans love.
