Ajmer Sharif Dargah was built by the Mughal ruler Humayun and his subsequent rulers Akbar and Shah Jahan built several mosques in the Dargah complex. – In the winter season the Dargah remains open from 5 am to 9 pm and in the summer season from 4 am to 10 pm. There is a break in between between 3 pm and 4 pm. Also, there is no entry fee to go inside the Dargah.

– It is prohibited to carry any kind of bag or luggage inside the Dargah. You can only take mobile phones with you. It is also prohibited to carry a camera inside the Dargah.

– It is very important for women to wear a scarf on their head and for men to wear a cap on their head while going inside the Dargah.

– You may have to face a lot of crowd inside the Dargah, so take care of your belongings.
