Cricket News Desk. Indian team's experienced spinner R Ashwin has retired from international cricket. Ashwin, who retired after the Gaba test, returned to India on Thursday. When he was asked about his future plans after reaching India, he said that there is still a lot of cricket left in him as a cricketer. He said, 'I can now play for Chennai Super Kings in IPL for a long time. I think I will continue to play as a player as my journey as an international player has come to an end.
He further said, 'We all know that as a player our life is full of ups and downs. When I go to sleep I think about a lot of things like how to take wickets and score runs. But nothing like this has been happening for the last 2 years, which indicates to me that a different path must now be taken. At the moment I have not set any new goals and just want to relax.
