Ingredients to make Chana Dal Gobi Tikki
- Soaked chana dal – 1 cup
- Finely chopped cabbage – 1/2 cup
- Gram flour – 1/4 cup
- Curd – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1.5 tsp
- Green chilli – 1 tbsp
- Mint leaves – 2 tbsp
- oil as per requirement
- Salt – as per taste
How to make Chana Dal Gobi Tikki
To make Chana Dal Gobi Tikki for breakfast, first clean the gram dal and soak it in water for 4-5 hours. – After the stipulated time, filter the lentils and drain the water. Now finely chop cabbage, mint and green chillies. – After this, take soaked gram dal in a mixer jar and add green chillies to it and grind it coarsely. – Now take out the prepared paste in a vessel. – Now add finely chopped cabbage, mint leaves, turmeric, cumin powder to this lentil paste and mix everything well. After this, mix gram flour, curd and salt as per taste in the paste. Now take a little paste in your hand and first make a round ball out of it and then flatten it and give it the shape of a tikki. – Prepare tikkis from the entire mixture in the same way. – Now heat a nonstick pan on medium flame. – After the pan is hot, spread some oil on it. Now put the prepared tikki on the pan and fry it. – After some time, apply oil on the edges of the tikki and turn the tikki and cook it from the other side also. When the tikki becomes golden brown from both the sides, take it out in a plate.
